Before staring PL Launchpad program, you will need to have an understanding of the basic mechanisms and tools, as well as the what and why of web3.

Learning Objectives

  1. Understand what web3 is, how it is different than past iterations of the web (1.0 and 2.0), and why it is important to build this new version of the web

  2. Have a basic understanding of what makes up the web3 ecosystem, and how Protocol Labs (and IPFS) is building for web3 and the future

  3. Understand the basic tools and mechanisms used in web3, such as blockchain, cryptocurrency, smart contracts, and security

  4. Be able to explain the basics of distributed storage, IPFS, NFTs, crypto tokens & wallets, and more
